this is a forum and i know most cluchfans like the idea of Chris coming to Houston but this is a site where all fans have the right to voice their opinions...So if you dont want Chris Bosh to come here let the others know why... Personally I think Chris Bosh is weak he is not what we need, he is going to handcuff us with his max contract and could end up as bad as when McLady left...He hasnt won anything 11 playoff games in 6 years...I think Shaq said it best i believe he said "Chris Bosh is a FAKE big man"...So i know im going to get hated on but i dont think he is the answer...i would rather go into trade discussions with Denver for Melo...but thats just me
this is the only part i agree with. morey obviously believes differently than you, so i trust his judgment to go after bosh. but if melo goes on the market, i think that changes things a bit.
Of course, you probably have to give up more to get Melo just because he's not walking immediately like Bosh would be. His contract is also up in a year so you have to either make sure he'll sign an extension with us before such a trade or take a chance that he'll re-sign and won't bolt after one season.
im not saying i know more than DM...this is a thread for all to voice what they think about the current Rockets...And if me saying i dont want bosh is saying i know more than DM let me know how I want what ALL want on this board and that is to attend a parade in Downtown Houston in June
Leave dude alone...if he (along with others) don't want Bosh, then let him have at it. He's not alone in this. I personally want Bosh as a Rocket...but yall can't **** on his thread...not really fair.
He would significantly help our team...I love Scola, but if we replace him with CB AND get Yao back, we're easily 60 wins/conference finals material. I wish we could get Bosh and fast forward to November 10'...I'm sure you'd change your mind
We don't know as much as Daryl Morey, but there are pros and cons to having Bosh. He hasn't been very successful so far. Some of the points that the OP brought up aren't wrong. There is no reason to get defensive about it.
He's a better scorer, rebounder, and defender...not to mention he'd give us a legimate shot blocking presence in the paint, something we don't have without a healthy Yao. Why do you think we'd be worse with him? You think he's "weak"? In what way?
Bc we want a parade and a chance to be legitimate contenders every season. Guys that average 25 and 11 don't exactly grow on trees. Read Carl Herrara's thread. He will be worth every penny.
I don't want bosh also and believe our current players are at par or greater than bosh. But since Daryl Morey thinks otherwise I defer to him.
