I think it's safe to say this team will only win if everybody scores b/c we don't have that one guy. and i have to applaud morey for putting good players from top to bottom where everyguy outside of hayes can put the ball in the basket.

through 4 games, we have 6 guys in double figures with no one above 17ppg. i think this is going to continue for as long as we play in the playoffs.

my, how much things have changed. in the past, it was just tmac and yao and we had role players who were inept offensively. now, we're fine if yao is on the bench and running the offense even through fricking a bench player like von wafer for short stretches.

props to morey. i expect bigger things in the next few years, esp. with cap space going off with potential trades of tmac or not resigning artest.

Rockets in my mind right now play pure team basketball and that's what Rick Adelman wanted when he came to Rockets.

His inability to run high motion offense through "defensive" oriented players made things more difficult. I think Morey is trying to adjust Rockets more to Adelman type of players.

I guess Rockets are trying to look more like 02' Kings and that's a good thing, isn't it?

P.S. 22 posts per day, wow

If Tmac is playing, we wouldn't be getting as much offensive rebounds. WHY? Because Tmac will be taking shots and so Scola and Yao will not be getting offensive 2nd chance shots. Yao is busy doing pick n roll for Tmac and Scola wouldn't be free to get 2nd chance rebound because Aldridge does not need to double Yao.

This team is better off without Tmac because Tmac MAKES HIS TEAMMATES WORST OFF!! From reducing them to standing around and watch...to not able to get 2nd chance shots ....to poor defensive team (Tmac can't defend). So there is a trade off. Tmac might give them offensive punches if he's on...but then he doesn't allow the team to play TEAM-BALL which mean out of rhythm...doesn't allow them to get 2nd chance rebound and doesn't allow them to play great D with Artest and Shane.
