I am sure this will be worthy of the D & D. Last night the fiance had a craving for fried chicken. So I went on the hunt, and we found a corner store that had a chesters fried chicken. I asked the guy for two pieces, and he said "let me make you a deal." Mind you, this guy was of Iranian decent, and this will be pertinent to the end of the story. I said "whats your deal?" He in turn says "7 pieces of chicken for $2.00, the OBAMA SPECIAL" I didnt know wether to laugh or to look at him with disgust, so I kinda cracked a smile and let it go. He then in turn starts saying to me "I cannot stand that stupid ni**er, and back in my country we are laughing at America. You think that George Bush made you look stupid, you have no idea what this Obama makes you look like." I walked out thinking to myself, did I just hear that??? Debate and discuss my brothers.
Next time smile and says yea. . n*gg*rs. . sandn*gg*rs you all the same except that whole strapping a bomb to you chest you sandn*gg*rs do BTW - do you have an address *grin* Just wanna talk . . .really . . . or boycott . . or something I have met several Iranians and they did not seem to be racist so . . . I cannot hold this one as the standard [Unless they good at hiding it] But anyway Obama will make alot of the world look in As I have held the US to a high standard on race relations I don't think any other country had the son of an immigrant become its leader No 'Western' Country has had a ethnic minority as a Leader [Are their even any black folx in Parliment or its french counterpart? Rocket River
Too right about the above. There's been black MPs in England but the odds that they'll ever be a British PM are slim to none, although the rise of Obama gives hope to folk in England as well as in France.
I say great post. I thought and I guess many others thought that everyone from every other country in the world was reveling in the Obama win as much as his supporters in America. It's interesting to hear this take from the Iranian. Let's you know racism is still alive in some folks from other countries. I'd like to find out what the folks from countries like Russia, Spain, Argentina, the North African countries feel about Obama becoming President.
No kidding! Well, not everyone is happy with the elected President and we'll see by end of 4 years if it was a good term.
