    Steve Kerr!!!!

He might as well suck Pop's nuts. The guy is the biggest spur homer of all time. The Kings are only 4 down and he is talking about how great the spurs are and what the kings need to do to get back into the game. Hello!!! Four points is nothing especially considering what Tmac did to them. I wish Kerr would just shut up already.

The funniest part is, in the Hou game when McGrady hits that last three, you can hear Kerr go, "Noooooo!!"

rockbox, I knew the answer before I opened the thread.

every article the guy writes he talks about how the Spurs are going to win it all.

the day after The Rockets beat them with the T-Miracle, Kerr writes another article on yahoo praising his ex-team and ex-coach...

There should be a network mandate that Kerr can't do Spurs games on TNT.

At one point, all he was saying was "The Spurs need to throw it down to Tim Duncan now..." and he was saying it as Sacramento was going into their offense.

He also repeated it about 8 times before halftime... I think he's got the Spurs pbp job locked up.

He was pissed at all of those turnovers in the first half. How is a non-partial commentator upset at one teams turnovers

I agree. Kerr is way too much a homer. He said "No!" several times after a Sac bucket or a SA turnover. They oughta not let him to Spurs games.

It just so happens that the San Antonio Spurs are a very good baskeball team. Some would call them the best team in the NBA, and their record reflects. As such, Steve Kerr may say nice things about them.

What's funny is that Kerr's "conflict of interest" is even greater with the Suns than it is with the Spurs. Dont forget that Kerr is PART OWNER of the SUNS!
Keep that in mind next time Kerr does a Suns game.

The fact that the Spurs are a "very good" team waives Kerr's obligation to be objective? This is a nationally broadcast game, is he not obligated to some level of objective or non-partisan effort?

How about the flipside of the Spurs being "very good" as justification for what Kerr says. The Knicks (this year) are a bordeline horrible team but if Kerr (or the other offender Sean Elliott) were hired to do a NY vs SA game, does the disparity in the teams' current abiliites give Kerr a right to say bad things about the Knicks?

Given the population differences between SA and most other NBA cities, I'd conclude that a bias towards a "very good" SA team offends more NBA fans than it appeases.

Those are extremely poor options given that listening to the crowd noise and sound of the ball going through the net are a big part of enjoying the game (that's why they mic the backboard).

How about the next time you don't like a Rockets' coach or player, we tell you to go find another team? From an enjoyment of the game aspect, that's what your "solution" equates to.

I actually did have it on mute for most of the second half. Of course, it was because I was on the phone at the time, but still....;)

Actually, he goes "oooh" and then laughs that "ho ho" laugh when something amazing happens.

I would have loved to have seen his face every time a Rocket knocked down a big shot in that game. Kerr's ohhhhs and ahhhhs were so obvious. Thank God Marv was on the other side. His "YES's" pretty much nulled out little Stevie's adoration/disappointment coos.

He is not the partner to Marvelous Marv that The Czar was -- or even JVG (tho he is about as altitudinously challenged as they).

actually, i almost never watch a game, football or basketball w/ the sound on. i usually listen to music, straight ahead jazz works great. i find i can see the court or field much better w/o the announcers directing my attention.
