The Rockets have a chance to regain at least some respectability with the next six games, all very winnable. If they win five of the next six, the Rockets' record will stand at 20-31. Considering that they started at 13-30, that's not half bad. Will the Rockets find a way to blow these games, or will they start to resemble a good team? Hopefully, these last two victories have given the team some confidence. This is all assuming that they stay healthy. Keep in mind that the Rockets are 14-12 with Steve, and 1-18 without. This is not a 15-30 team we are dealing with. @DAL L Too tough offensively. CHA W I doubt Baron will be as spectacular as on Saturday. UTH W Steve will get his revenge. If he isn't tossed, the Rockets will win. @CLE W They are very, very bad. They won't be able to handle the Rockets with Steve playing. MEM W There is no way Jason Williams will have a repeat performance. ORL W This game will be the toughest after Dallas, but if the Rockets are indeed on a four game winning streak at this time, they will find a way to get past Orlando at home. If the Rockets do not go at least 5-1 over the next six, then something is very wrong. This team is due for a hot stretch, and this is the best opportunity for that. Miami has had their streak. The Knicks are on their own. It is time for this 14-12 Rockets team to improve to 19-13. Give the fans something to bloody cheer about!
hold up there pardner. dallas, charlotte, utah, and orlando are all legit nba teams here. you don't just assume 3-1 against them. not saying we can't do it, but it's not something you just expect to happen. also, didn't you have a thread about some 4 game stretch and you said we should go at least 3-1 and then we went 1-3. why you gotta jinx them like this. pretend we're in the chat and mobley's got 2 pressure ft's. predict the miss. predict the 0-6. it's your fanly duty to the rockets.
@ Dal - too tough, not gonna happen. L Char - mercurial team, though it'll be close. W Utah - they aren't bad. Too much Malone. L @Cle - horrible team. Enough said. W Mem - too banged up. Being in Houston helps. W Orl - 10-6 in their last 16, held the Lakers tough tonight and beaten the best in both conferences, unlikely to see a win here. L
I think the Rockets are going to win all six, if Steve stays healthy. Dallas is in a bit of a slump, they lost to the Clippers. I think the one that we might lose will be the one against Cleveland. They are not all that horrible, with Andre Miller, one of the greatest pure PGs, Wes Person, a pretty good 3-point shooter, and Ilgauskas, who is one of the really good centers if healthy.
Exactly my thought when I saw the topic of the thread and the poster named ZRB ... ... 0-6 ... the Rockets suck! Go Rockets!
There is no reason we shouldn't go 4-2 here. We dont have a Bench but if Steve and Cat keep up their play There aren't a lot of teams that can stop us.
How can you truly believe we are going to go 6 - 0. We have only won 15 all year. Get real. I love the Rockets but, come on. 3-3 is closer to reality.
The Rockets would have crushed Utah in the Delta Center if not for the refs. I don't see why we should assume a loss against Utah in Houston.
