    Bar any spectacular win streaks, it would seem that the writing is on the wall for Silas opening an opportunity for someone else. The question is who is best qualified to lead this young team?

    Personally, I'd like the Rockets to take a run at Becky Hammon. Her playing and coaching resume is looking quite good these days coming off Coach of the Year in the WNBA. I think the personality of our players would fit in well with what she would bring to the table having both successful playing and coaching careers.

    Hammon and Snyder would be at the top of my list. Both have lots of high quality experience and aren’t dinosaurs

    Assuming silas gets fired during the season, i want to see Mahmoud Abdelfattah give it a go. Promote in house and is significantly cheaper than all the big name coaches. Quite risky though.

    Hammon is one I wouldn't mind having as a hc. I doubt tilman would go for it, since she might b a bit pricey + riskier.

    Lionel Hollins is set up to be "that guy"

    That's why I laugh when people criticize the current coaching;
    which he is a part of.

    We already tried someone without head coaching experience. Also, he looks the same age as our youngsters. He might be relatable, but I think they need someone more authoritative.

    I want someone proven this time, I don't care if they're a retread. this group just needs to learn NBA basketball. we don't need anything cutting edge or revolutionary.

    Vogel, Snyder, Stotts, JVG, and MDA would be my top tier but probably too expensive for Tillman. They could also probably land a better gig with a more winning team. MDA likely has no interest in working for Tilman again.

    Atkinson, Stackhouse, and Borrego, would be good gets.

    Charles Lee (Bucks Ast), Chris Quinn (Heat Ast), Hollins, and Abdelfettah should be the cheapest options and likely one of them would be the next coach.

    I feel like Vinny DelNegro had a promising start to his coaching career and didn't get a fair shake with that Clippers squad.

    The NBA is a bit of a strange beast. I wouldn't mind hunting through Monty William's staff to see if they could bring a similar culture here.

    With the aim of somewhat positionless basketball, it would be bad to undo what Stone has been working on. So, my thoughts would be simply: whoever Stone wants.

    Just don’t let it access the Game Thread to add our decisions to its machine learning … or we’re DOOMED
