I still love the McGrady throw down bouncing off of the defender's head, then McGrady straddled onto his back rodeo-style. Can't remember who the defender was though.

I like Vince's dunk in High School over one guy. I forgot his name, but they showed it on Beyond the Glory: Vince Carter.

All that was needed to pull off what Vince did was about 40 inch vericail and He had to have some major guts to try to jump over him.

Yeah, that dunk was ridiculous. But my favorite of all time is the Starks left-handed jam against the Bulls in the 93 playoffs. Possibly my favorite play of all time.

Keon Clark over Shawn Bradley has got to be the best non-"Vince over Frenchie" dunk I've seen.

I dunno... Shawn Kemp has a vicious one on some Golden State Warrior from the early 90's that gets played about five times a day on NBA.com TV. He even does the funniest post-dunk taunt I've ever seen.

And who can forget Shaq's "crotch in face" on Chris Dudley that inspired him to throw the ball at him afterwards a few years ago?

Yeah, all those dunks were good, but Starks was the best in my opinion because it came out of nowhere, completely unexpected. I mean he's not even considered a dunker. After that play I just remember being like, "what the hell just happened?" It just happened so fast. It was the best in recent memory. That's why they call it "The Dunk." And the fact that it was in an important playoff game made it even better.

I'd have to say the KJ dunk on Dream was pretty nasty, not nearly as nasty as the kiss of death though...:)

    Vince Carter = Dominique Wilkins

My personal favorite dunk is when this guy from college or high school I dont remember, dunks the ball and it hits him on the head and goes out. ...Classic

Are you sure that wasn't Jordan? I saw a dunk where about 3 or 4 guys collapsed on Jordan as he went up and just threw one down on all of them. I was laughing so hard, I thought I was going to black out. I think it was against the Knicks.
