    1,600 and climbing

A boat's a boat, but the mystery box could be anything. IT COULD EVEN BE A BOAT. You know how much we wanted one of those.

I have this feeling that the high bidder will be very disappointed.

That's the craziest idea I've ever seen on E-Bay. That'd be a good way to make money for what could be absolutely nothing.

I knew that quote from Invisible Fan was from Family Guy! I can't wait 'till it's back May 1st. In the meantime, I'll leave y'all with one of my favorite quotes from the show...

[Brian and Stewie are catching a ride with Hispanic workers in Texas]
Brian Griffin: Hola! Um... me, me llamo es Brian. Ahh, uh, um... Let's see, uh, nosotros queremos ir con ustedes.
Migrant Worker: Hey, that was pretty good, except when you said, "Me llamo es Brian," you don't need the "es", just "me llamo Brian".
Brian Griffin: Oh! So you speak English!
Migrant Worker: No, just that first speech and this one explaining it.
Brian Griffin: You... you're kidding, right?
    Migrant Worker: Que?

I love Family guy, I own the DVD's and catch it almost everynight if the Rockets aren't playing on Adult Swim.

I can't wait for the new episodes.

And about that envelope, I doubt he will be paid.

Mark my words: the mystery envelope is going to contain a check for the winning bid amount.

No other way that this works out.

p.s. I'm also willing to tell your fortune for $5

Didn't he say that the item was predetermined, and would not change regardless of the bid amount?

I'm glad to see this thread has derailed into Family Guy praise rather than an actual discussion of a silly Ebay auction. :)

My sources tell me it is worth absolutely nothing, but it is something:

    It's NHL season tickets.

    Oh, those crafty Canadians!

if you look at his other auctions some of them are complete scams, I do not feel sorry for the fool who bids on this and wins it....

He almost about covers his butt but he could still get into alot of trouble if it turns out to be a stamp or something from a 99cent store....

I hope the feds nab his butt!

hey if some idiot is willing to pay for this thing and receives crap in the envelope that's his problem not the seller's. he makes no claims about whats actually in there.
