I am a UH alum so I'd love to see Sam Mack to play in Houston, or even somewhere else in the NBA. Sam may not be a starter in this league, but he is a legitimate NBA player and one of the better shooters. Now the season is 15 games young and we haven't heard anything about him yet. It is ridiculous for a player like him just disappear!

Now with Shandon's performance, how many of you guys think Mack would have helped us more --- especially considering our bad 3-point shooting so far?

Mack would of helped the 3 point shooting. But thats it. Shandon Anderson needs to shoot more. The reason he doesnt get alot of points is because he doesnt shoot alot. He can drive to the basket any time, he has great defense and he runs the best on the team. He always wants to run.

Shandon is a great player, just let him have the ball more. Im not happy the way he has to sit out the 4th. Get Bullard out , he has no defense. Bullard is good but I want Anderson in there.

He is not doing so good.

He has been hospitalized because he has a bad case of Funyons on his feet and he also has Funyonitis of the salivary glands.

    Francis3,

Your assessment sounds a lot like we were asking Pippen to do more last year...Sounds scary, huh. I hope he doesn't complain as much as Quitten did.

We should have Mack instead of Walt but, who could have predicted that Walt would play so worthlessly. Everybody enjoys bashing Drew from time to time, and so far Drew has been far more valuable than Walt. You just never can fully predict what is going to happen. I want Mack bad, but the fact he hasn't signed on with the Rocks yet, means that it is very unlikely he will. It's a matter of what team needs Mack and Walt or something. I don't know how you trade Walt at this point. But I'm open for suggestions.

Hey wasn't there somebody on this board who used to go hang with Mack? We should be gettin an update from him.

To say Mack can only shoot the 3 is not true. Sure he is not what you would call a "all-around" player, but he improved his game, especially his offensive skills. I remember seeing him cutting to the hoop and making an easy layup a few times last season.

I would like to know what is up with Sam Mack also. He played well last year and Rudy liked him. Must be a reason is all I can say. Maybe he wants too much money and would rather sit out - dumb decision if he does that.

Rudy seems to be one to stick with a player and he will give Walt a chance. But as a fickle fan that wants to win, he should be on the bench. We need him to shoot well but it looks like he is concentrating on rebounding (which is good too) and trying to drive. What is that! It is not his role.
