The new Nike Shox...They're horrible. The insoles are basically cardboard. No support at all...and they call them Running Shoes??? I cant imagine how anyone can run in these. I had to buy some Dr. Scholl's insoles (btw I got the shoes for free) most comfortable shoes ive ever owned: Reebock DMX's All Air Max's Air Kobe 1 (the uptempos) they feel like GOLD while playing ball in them and if you do a lot of running.... http://www.zappos.com/n/p/p/7174565/c/40067.html and i dont normally wear sandals, but those Crocs feel like gold as well
i had a pair of asics that were shown in one of the brosnon bonds flicks (golden eye i think). Anyways, i didnt get the blue ones but i got a gray pair and i thought they were just awesome...until i had to walk in them. it was like a torture device. just killed my feet
really? i have those in that link i posted...i think those are great...i guess it all depends on the person's foot. some ppl probably feel that the Nike Shox are great for running...otherwise they wouldnt make them right?
im sorry, i meant adidas. I was surprised because all the other shoes i've got from them were good...but that one pair was just horrible.
For me, basketball-wise my Lebrons are the most comfortable thing my feet has ever met. It's like a pillow on your feet.
I hear the new Mike Vick's were supposed to be comfortable, but they pulled them to be redesigned into shower shoes. don't drop the soap
unless you go to a place like luke's locker or fleet feet you're going to end up with a really crappy running shoe.. mizuno/asics/brooks/saucony are all killer runners... i prefer mizuno, but its all about personal pref. most basketball shoes are pretty bad for running too, their saving grace is ankle support.. i wear my cross trainers to play ball in some times and they work fine, even with less ankle support... nike shox and adidas 'bounce' are some of the worst running shoes ive ever encountered... i tell my clients to avoid them at all costs..
I have flat feet and bought those damn 360's thinking they would be awesome for me like the air max and shox have been in the past. Worst shoes ever. I went to Fleet Feet in the Village and bought a pair of running shoes by Brooks made for flat footed people. They rock.
so the shox worked out for you??? i have a arc in my foot (and i hate it)...and those shox are freakin horrible. Sofsole insoles are the best, but i went w/dr. scholl's cuz i dont plan on doing a lot of walking or running in those shox...
I had the original shox plus the one a year after that. Since then I have been wearing air Max's I have a pair of Lebron 20-5-5 and they are awesome shoes.
The Shox aren't comforable at all..The only Nike's that i've ever owned that have been halfway decent were some Air Max Tailwind (?) Running shoes.. For running, I only go with Saucony, period, end of story...The cross trainers I have are asics and they rock...
Shox are very hard to run in even the first pair and that was the first AND ONLY pair of shox that had zoom air in the forefoot. I've been running in my 360s in an indoor track and it does its job (only pair I had with me) fairly well. The best running shoe I've ever used? Air Max Plus I. I will swear on them any day of the week.
I didn't like the Adidas Game Day Lightning... I think it was a horrible design. I almost sprained my ankle the first time I wore it.
those tmac v's are freaking heavy. i wore that to the docs today, and i got myself weighed. I think my clothes, plus my phone and belt, and socks, and all that added ten lbs.
Worst shoes ever? Those damn sandals back in the '60's, with the hundreds of little rubber pointy knobs sticking straight up that your feet were supposed to rest on while walking. Forget the name of them, but I always hated them.
Starburys. Ew. somebody got me some for christmas, I wore them once and never again. My ankles were bleeding.
For running, i really like Mizunos, really comfrtable and lightweight at the same time. And they tend to be slightly cheaper than ascics.
