As much as I hate to admit, Mo is a decent offensive talent. Since Isiah wants him bad enough to take his huge contract, I expect to see a lot more playing time for Mo, and he just might prove us wrong for trading him.
I don't think he could EVER possibly "prove us wrong". The guy didn't play hard for us. He didn't rebound or bang on a team that sorely needed rebounding and D from the 4 spot. He had a huge contract. He had someone doing the same things as him (but doing them better) playing in front of him. Prove us wrong? Maybe if he becomes an All Star starter
Unless Mo develops defensive and rebouding skills and figures out how to play inside without getting his stuff swatted 50% of the time, then I wouldn't put money on him proving anyone wrong.
There's a chance of him resuscitating his career and at least becoming the same 16 ppg player he was when he was with the Clips and the Rox for the end of his first year But that chance is not playing in NYC. I'm surprised Rudy didn't make a play for him back when he was in LA.
I think sweetney is better than mo, maybe not offensively, but he can grab a rebound and play defense.
I hope he doesnt pass that flu bug to anyone in NY on second though marbury catching it would be fine.
Mo on the Knicks is a PERFECT FIT! C'mon guys! Think about it. The Knicks are quite possibly one of the WORST defensive teams in the league and Mo fits right in with that philosophy! Can you imagine a worse defensive forward combo than Taylor and Tim Thomas? SCARY!

BRILLIANT! Evan
I think Mo is going to have some monster (for him) rebounding games in his first 4 games as a Knick. Then, he'll settle into being his usual self, scoring points and being soft on the boards. He'll look better there than he did under JVG.
Did you know that in New York City there are phone numbers you can call and they will come over to your house, with a briefcase from which you can select your choice of any number of different types of mar1juana and Hashish? That's probably not gonna be good news for the Knicks.
Over 35 minutes: 35 / 5 = 7 2 points x 7 = 14 0 rebounds x 7 = 0 14 points and 0 rebounds over 35 minutes isn't very good for a PF.
