Suddenly New Orleans is like a third world country that's not inhabitable by humans New York or LA was being rooted for like it was Jon Snow Surprise?? Nah
It’s got amazing food and culture And the obvious rooting for the knicks or Lakers was on full display
It’s cool for like 3 days to visit at most. I would never live in that place. And I don’t drink so all the bars and clubs don’t mean crap to me. NY and LA have a million times more food and culture than NO
they were being downright disrespectful Windhorst opened up his trash mouth and had the nerve to say that a possibility for Zion could be to threaten to go back to Duke. Really?
Many parts of rurarl and or inner city America are on the level or worse than 3rd world countries. It is something uncle sam wants to keep hush or ignore.
I LOVE New Orleans. Most people love it. But, the Pelicans or dead "Hornets" are one of the most contemptible franchise in modern sports. Just read about the "original Hornets" to NO Hornets to OK Hornets to NO Hornets to Pelicans. The media loved any team with LBJ on it; the Jazz were beloved with Stockton and Malone; Seattle and Phoenix were the teams people raved about in the Lakers were rebuilding (Houston was bigger than both cities); Was Orlando, not a big deal with Shaq; Phoenix was popular again with Nash; and people actually started like Toronto, because of Vince Carter. In the NFL, the "Green Bay" Packers who have been a spotlight team for almost 30 years; the "Pittsburgh" Steelers ... Buffalo Bills, when they were good; Kansas City has had one of the largest fan base for several decades. When they are somewhat competitive, they get alot of TV games. The Greatest show on Turf. Atlanta with Michael Vick, the media never shut up about him. They don't shut about Saints, now. MLB -- St. Louis Cardinals, the Big Red Machine of Cincinnati; the Atlanta Braves under Ted Turner; Florida/Miami Marlins (another incompetent small market); People don't watch boring , mediocre, and second-rate franchise.
The 3rd world part isn't that far off. I was watching an episode about gang violence in New Orleans a while ago and they had to subtitle the video because their English was so bad.
Every city has issues However it’s not good that the media is only wanting stars in two big markets Los Angeles and New York The two largest cities in America It’s super blatant No joy for New Orleans or Memphis
The media loves Russell Westbrook & the OKC Thunder! Yannis & the Bucks! Donovan Mitchell & the Jazz! They just don't like that New Orleans isn't playing ball with one of their favorites, the Lakers.
