    Anybody else pumped?

I want to hear some expectations right here in this thread.

As for me, I expect exactly what I got from the first two films. Mediocre writing, acting. Superb action, special effects, and costume/set work, as well as revolutionary directing techniques. At least for us poor Western fans of cinema.

every since i heard the first word on the trailer "SPEAK!" and that gigantic robotic head rising... man...

the thing looked like a giant fortress maximus hellraiser pinhead or something. good stuff.

i'll probably see it twice on opening day. morph duds are gone though. :(

Same here. After the disappointment that was Reloaded, going to rent rather than pay 9 bucks for a theater.

same here, original was good (though seeing it on tnt may have taken something away) and got me pumped for #2, but reloaded was friggin bad ass for me. absolutely loved it. probably my second favorite film ever behing Jurassic Park.

i am psyched for revolutions and am going friday with some people at the alamo draft house. would want to see it opening night (like i saw reloaded) but have a test that night and for some reason i feel like since i'm in austin and not houston seeing it as early as possible isn't necessary (not sure why). when i saw that huge head thing in the trailer that got me even more excited.

i expect exactly the same thing as reloaded and don't expect to be disappointed.

the plan is to watch the original on tnt right now, then watch reloaded on dvd today or tomorrow, and then see revolutions friday.

tnt is trying to ruin it for me with the censoring. "i'm going to give you a flipper" instead of the finger, wtf am i a 4 year old, and then "jeepers creepers" i wanna say replaced Jesus Christ, i mean come on, at least attempt to keep some cussing in there.

and damn you Nomar for starting this thread, i was just about to. i want a thread that gets 100+ posts.

    Playmakes?

Playmakers is Tuesday nights brother. Matrix is Wednesday. And I loved Matrix 1 and 2. I just don't delude myself into thinking they are good movies.

    ;)

This movie has me REALLY PUMPED! I liked Reloaded more than the original. I think Revolutions take at the box office will be hurt by the fact a lot of people were let down by Reloaded. The way I see it though, Reloaded and Revolutions are like one long movie, but they made it two because no one is gonna sit that long and to make more money. There were many questions after Reloaded and this movie really has me excited because it should answer all the questions from 1 and 2. There are so many double meanings, I just love how this trilogy makes you think. There are some slow, wierd parts, but I love the actors in it, effects, and all that is the Matrix.

I'll be watching it, don't know when though. I've heard some grumblings that it's all flash and no substance and that the ending is unsatisfying. That's just what I've heard though.
