Is anyone watching this celebrity golf tournament on TNT (can stream on Max I think)? I'm actually enjoying this format where they are all microphoned up and talking to each other throughout with the jokes and all. It was funny when it started out because it looked like Bill Murray wasn't speaking for the first few holes and I was thinking "oh boy...Bill is not going to say anything ever so this is going to be bad". But, he started speaking up. At one point, he even did a little impression of his Caddyshack character. Just the back and forth banter between the booth panel and the celebs golfing has been fun imo. And, some of these guys aren't that bad of golfers, e.g. Wayne Gretzky and Bill Murray. Even watching Charles Barkley sweat with the jokes and he's a pretty good putter with some decent drives mixed in has been entertaining. I dunno...I'm just enjoying the brackets and format where they start off playing two against two...and then the two who win face off against each other. Now, it's Bill Murray vs Wayne Gretzky playing. Anyway, I like it. It's not as boring as regular golf imo.
This sounds like a fun show to ‘watch’ while I work more for the dialogue than anything else. NGL, it’s weird to me to talk about a show on a terrestrial cable television network in almost-2025. Glad there’s a streaming option.
