I see you do not mind playing the Global Warming Roulette Wheel of Hurricanes. I did the math on buying a rental beach house in Galveston and staying in it a full week in high season and random weekends in off season. The numbers said the rental net income pays for the property taxes.
well i don't really hold anything more than about 10 minutes unless i get lucky and catch a trend or feel really solidly about a trade. i have been watching USG for a longer term buy here. i was waiting to buy it and got into it, then i saw buffet was buying it as well, so that kind of helps confirm that i am getting into something decent. it's been a pretty light day. finally been starting to make some decent money this week. it's been so damn slow this month. oh yeah i guess i would start to take a look at coal (BTU, ACI, CNX, MEE, FDG, and so on), oil and gas trusts, and other energy plays for potential bottoms since everything is pretty sold down here and look like decent low risk plays for bottom picking. other than that i am not too sure.
