Anybody watching this ****? Dampier lowers the shoulders going into Yao, trips himself and Yao gets his first. On the other end, TMac gets tripped by Terry and Finley, the ball rolls out of bounds, of course, it's Mavs ball. Then you have Keith Van Horn knocking the ball out of bounds on a bad shot by TMac, Mavs ball. Stackhouse drives into the lane, not expecting to make the shot, but trying to draw contact. If he leaned forward any further he would have fell face first on the floor (instead, he almost did), Deke picks up his first. Mike James does it on the other end, no call, thank god he made the basket. I'm advising MJ to lean sideways a bit more to make it more obvious next time. The sad thing is, this may only be an indication of things to come.
Earth to thread starter: We are playin on the road in the playoffs as the lower seed. They should and will get more calls. The playoffs is always more physical than the regular season.
Well, Yao just picked up his 2nd tick tack foul of the game. Deke got whacked by Josh Howard on his way to the basket, no call. TMac's shot at the end of half, I guess they didn't want to give Dirk his 4th. Shocking.
Mars to brooksstephens: Rockets did NOT and do NOT get calls at home either ! Now start watching more Rockets games.
We won this game without Yao being our best big man and lopsided refering! That just says how damn good of a team we are baby!!
I do live in lynchburg Virginia and i DO have NBA league pass, wut I WAS NOT talking about regular season home games, I was talking about road games in the PLAYOFFS. Now start watching more playoff games.
why SHOULD any team get more calls then another team? i understand that the home team WIL but you're saying they should? i think that's ridiculous. the officiating tonight was a joke capped off by an offense foul by wesley trying to make a pass. c'mon. it's a credit to the rockets that they still took it to them despite of it.
Anyone see JVG in the first quarter? He tried talking to Crawford, and the ref just walked away. He turned around to his assistants like, "What the hell is his problem?" I knew it was going to be a long night ever since then.
To save time, in the next game they should just give the Mavs an extra 20 points before the game started. At least this way we know what we would be up against.
Easy, dude. I merely point out the fact Rockets get NO respect from the refs. Crowford, Spooner.... to name a few
anyone see the suck-job avery was performing on the post-game interviews? "the refs had zero impact on the game today" " i love the referees all of them do a good job because i know how hard this game is" i guess i'd love the refs too if my team got 53 fts. and the best was when someone asked him what he was talking to joey crawford at the end of the game about. his response: "he refereed my last game 7 with the spurs and i just wanted to thank him for doing that" the reporter said something like, "are you serious?" so do refs stay for a whole series or are they rotated game-to-game?
