No not that NBA staged Lottery. I'm talking about the Texas Lottery. I think it's staged too btw Has anybody won big? like five out of six? Three, now five dollars is impressive. Have you guys won in Pick 3? I picked the numbers right for my sister....BUT it wasn't for the right day. It was like seven, eight years ago. It was 1-0-6. Yeah, that's it. I was just wondering because I feel lucky.
the lotto is a waste of money... but when other people waste their money for me i dig the scratch off ones.
i won 250 dollars on a scratch off once. I promptly blew it in a certain establishment on I-45 North and it was well worth it.
If you want a better taste for odds, play bingo with about 50 other people for about 3 hours. Every game you will get over half the numbers called out ... approimately 30 numbers. If you win, consider yourself lucky. Now take your experince, and imagine getting 6 numbers.
I won $300 on the Weekly Grand, and also hit 4 out of 6 on the pick 6. In fact I only missed the other 2 by one number each. Guess, I will have to get my 60 million the old fashioned way. DaDakota
When I get a good fortune in a fortune cookie at a Chinese restaurant, I always play the numbers on the fortune. I haven't won a damn thing...yet!
When I was in high school I used to play the lotto once a week. It actually worked too well for me. I would buy 3 sets of numbers each week, picking a new set by hand. I ended up winning with 4 numbers 4 times, winning between 130-180 each time. I played for about 20 weeks and quit the last time I had four numbers. The reason why I stopped was that I more than exceeded the odds, and I determined any successive playing would lead to me losing all the cash I won. My last ticket that had four numbers correct was sooooo close to having all six right. If I remember correctly I had a 17 (Elie) instead of an 18, and a 34 (Hakeem) instead of a 43. So one number one digit too low, and the other one reversed. And it was really upsetting to me at the time since it was a 30 mil jackpot. I got over it when I got the $180 money order. B
"The Lottery" http://www.mostweb.cc/Classics/Jackson/TheLottery/ "It isn't fair, it isn't right," Mrs. Hutchinson screamed, and then they were upon her.
The Lotto....its nothing but astate sponsored, state owned monopoly. Screw the lotto! I want black jack and roulette tables in Texas! Did you guys know that technically Sam Houston and Gulf Greyhound Park can have casino style table games. They just cannot have slot machines.
To me, the lottery is good. I think it is what is keeping us from having a state income tax. Oh, I plan to win the 26 million on Wednesday. Then, I'm gonna buy this website and kick DoD and cripee out of it. Hmmm...I think I'll boot Dadakota as well.
Funny Story I won 1500 and had to go down to the lottery office to claim it and infront of me was a man who just won 50,000 he was ancy all excited... They run your complete info on yourself social security and Dl# to see if you owe back taxes or any childsupport or student loans not being paid. Lottery official comes up to the gentleman and states his money was being held because he owed back childsupport. Talk about one pissed guy. lol
My uncle won 5,000 dollars on the Idaho state lottery. I think he was the first one to hit the "jackpot" well 2 weeks later he fell off his roof and shattered his heal. I bet you all know where that 5,000 went Poor guy
I've never won more than 50 dollars. I play scratch tickets all the time. With one in three odds, I'm bound to win one of these days. Any time now... Now would be good. I also make the trip down to Portland to buy Powerball tickets when the jackpot hits 200 million or so. I plan to win the Powerball on April 17th, after the Rockets beat the Blazers.
I haven't played the lottery yet... Unless you count the lotto known as the Internet/Telecom/Dot Com boom... now that was some fun... with better odds than that state lotto thing they keep screwin' folks over with.
I saw a cartoon once, the first frame showed a building with a sign that said "Pay stupidity tax here." There were no people. The next frame had the same building but it said "State lotto" and there was a line out the door.
