It's official. Dallas has 13 losses as of now. They can not reach the pinnacle of achievement that is 70 wins.

    Discuss.

I wish they had gotten there, it would have made them getting upset in the first round all the more special.

What is there to discuss? They are still going to get the best record in the NBA and that's all that actually matters. It was so obvious they don't care about that stupid milestone anyway. Last night they scored just as many points the Rockets did against a team that plays no defense. They tried to win the game, sure, but they didn't go out there like they usually do. They had only 11 free throws and I think only 4 in the second half. Season is done, it doesn't matter anymore.

It's the exact same thing as the Rockets. Why don't you worry and discuss that. They still had an opportunity to go out and get 4th seed. But JVG and the underachievers settled for the 5th seed and no homecourt. It is what it is. Record is now meaningless.

Mavs have 1st seed and homecourt throughout. You tell me, what else do you need at this point?

I'm glad they didn't get it. I hope Dirk & Cuban never win a championship because they're both douchebags.

Actually,Mavs need one more win to secure 1st seed. Not it really that matters, but, since you asked,I will tell you, at this point,Mavs need one more win or one more loss from the Suns.Mavs had their chance last night, but they blew it.Mavs suck!

Technically you are right and I can't argue with you. But there are 7 games left and there's no way Mavs will lose the next 7. Even if they do, the Suns are not going undefeated. It's not happening in my world.

I have to admit that I was hoping they lost one more game so they wouldn't be able to get 70 wins. Same thing when they started the season 15-0 as we did back in 93-94. I didn't want them to get #16 and top our record.

Mavs got ahead of themselves, they forgot they still have to win games in order to get to 70. They let it go to their heads too soon. The Bulls just destroyed everyone when they did it, I don't think they were aiming for 72.

i dont think the mavs care about the 70 wins. I watched the games against the Nugs...the 4 Q play was not as urgent as usual. They are coasting right now, waitng for playoffs.

A true Rockets fan would know they went 14-0.

You are right. They had 14 wins, and one more would have tied us.
