Ok, I'm usually not into this type of movie, but the concept looks interesting. Got two thumbs up from Rog and Eb. Plus the song is awesome (Keane - Somewhere only we know). Has anyone seen it?

not to mention reeves cant act for his life, the only movie where his role was very well played out was bill and teds excellent adventure, probably since it didnt really need any real acting skills.

I liked the Korean version, as well, and I've been interested in seeing this one because I did enjoy the original.

But the trailers aren't giving me much hope.

I think there's a difference between someone who can't act and someone who's somewhat monotonous in their delivery.

Sarah Michelle Gellar cannot act. Keanu just has a constant surfboish vibe to him.

And this looks pretty good. But it'll probably get lost in the shuffle amongst Supmeran Returns and Nacho Libre.

It's like Frequency but with a Lakehouse!

I love movies with interesting concepts, and this one looks interesting. I'll be sure to check out the Asian version since I'm getting into good Korean flicks (like My Sassy Girl, great movie). I dunno if I'll go see Lakehouse in theatres though...unless I have a date...which means I probably won't see it in theatres :( .

This will be an interesting test for my Keanu Reeves theory. If he's playing a character that's supposed to be clueless, then it's typically a good movie (see Bill and Ted's and The Matrix). If his character has brains, then it's typically a bad movie (see pretty much everything else).

How Keanu Reeves keeps getting great parts in movies is an unsolved mystery that ranks right up there with UFOs, Bigfoot, the Loch Ness Monster, and the Bermuda Triangle.

Well, actually I did enjoy it somewhat. His character was in the dark for most of the movie. I don't think I worded my theory too well. :)

i hear what you're saying, i think. not whether his character is intelligent..but rather he's clued in to what's going on around him.

The best thing about this movie is that you don't even have to pay for a ticket. All you have to do is hand the ticket person your testicles and you get in for free...
