I'm a huge Ricky Rubio fan but it's pretty obvious that Kyrie Irving will win Rookie of the Year

Irving has pre-injury Chris Paul potential.
More aggressive offensively and better physical tools. More confidence in his jumper too.
Never seems rushed and understands the game at a level that only a few do even as a rookie.
    He is a gamer.

Just realized he is shooting 50% from the field and 40% from three, damn impressive to go along with the clutch play.

This guy is too ill. He's one of the most polished rookies I have ever seen.

His jumper is already Chris Paul-like, which is amazing for a 19 year old.

The thing that's truely amazing about Irving is his temperment. The kid is so calm under pressure. He reminds me of Duncan in his rookie year. Hard to believe he only had one year of college ball.

This guy deserves to be number 1. Rubio and Minny have Love, Beasley and Aldeman plus a decent supporting cast.

Who does Irving have? Cleveland is playing so well considering what they have and Irving is leading them.

yeah he's making me a fan. Btw, sweet uniform. Rubio or Irving, doesn't matter who gets ROY. Both are very good players.

Tristan Thompson however looks like a bust.

To add, I think his ceiling is Tony Parker. A pretty damn good player, now let's hope the Cavs find him a Tim Duncan and they'll win a ring or two.

This guy makes John Wall look like a clown. I've always said athleticism is overrated. Guys like Blake Griffin, John Wall are fool's gold with the highlights they show. All flash, no real basketball skills.

Tony Parker?! His CURRENT play is already Parker's equal.

He is Chris Paul + 2 more inches of height and a better temperament. Chris Paul as a rookie had 3 years of experience in the NCAA. Irving played all of 10 GAMES there due to an injury. He made college ball look like a joke, I can't remember another guy throwing so many alley-oops as far away as he did. Some of them were around the half court line. This guy finishes at the rim with the best of them, and he's only going to get better. In two years it's going to be Rose vs Irving for the title of Best PG in the world. Rose will be the flashier of the two, but Irving will be the cerebral one. The scary thing is that Irving's also got the athleticism to be an elite defender too. Total package, that guy is.
