Man, that little island just never cease to come up with amazing weird stuff. http://news.com.com/Peeping+Tom+filter+lets+phones+see+through+bikinis/2100-1039_3-5425105.html?tag=nefd.top
Isn't this just a gimmick to sell merchandise? It's not like you see anyone naked. All you see is their heat signature. I imagine not unlike what you see thru night goggle?
Well, if she's hot an bothered, you may have all the iformation you need. The more I think about this problem I don't think a camera that can see through clothes is possible, but you could probably develop a camera that could contour the body (using wave technology), grab color from the visible skin tone (simple photo technology), and then fill in the rest of the body parts using graphic technology. It could all be done within in a matter of seconds. And would probably be good enough to get that euphoric high of seeing a girl naked that you couldn't see before. But of course that would be a hypothethical image based on raw data. You probably couldn't get panty lines and tan lines for example. The best part is that the digital camera would still have a fully clothed photo available for cover up.
Wasn't this an issue with a Sony Camcorder that had nightvision a while back? I don't think you could see through the clothes completely, just an outline of undergarments and stuff. I think Sony eventually made some changes to the way their nightvision worked.
This is true; it wasn't limited to Sony cameras, but they did discontinue that type of night vision. Of course, you can still buy a filter for $10... Here and other places as well; if you're brave enough you can even adjust the night vision yourself to allow all rays through. If you're perverted, that is. It's pretty incredible technology, no doubt, but I beg the question, how exactly does such technology get through production without such testing?!?!
I believe this Japanese invetion will be ideal for people who have fetishes at ass sniffing, skirt peeping, or dog mating... http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tm...8/od_afp/afplifestyle_japan_dogs_041028172332 Japanese to get dogs' view of world with digital collar-camera TOKYO (AFP) - Japanese dog lovers will get to see the world from the perspective of their pets with a digital camera attached to their companions' collars. Toy maker Tomy Co. Ltd. will launch the 38-gram (1.3 ounce) "Wonderful Shot" on Friday at a cost of 9,240 yen (87 dollars). It can take pictures by using a remote control, letting owners "enjoy pictures from dogs' view," the company said. Or owners can put on a time switch taking pictures at intervals of one minute to one hour. "You can check where your beloved dog is or what it is looking at while you are away from home," the firm said in a statement. The camera can take up to 90 pictures of 350,000 pixels. Tomy will sell the collar-camera at pet shops and department stores across Japan, aiming at sales of 150,000 cameras for the initial year. Pet owners outside Japan will have to settle for their own eyes for the time being as Tomy has no immediate plans to export the collar-camera, a company spokeswoman said.
