Hopefully, this won't be a player that leaves the Rockets and flourishes. We've had a few of those before.

Nice numbers but he couldn't do this in summer league for some reason.

I personally don't think that stat line is anything to jab about, especially in preseason. I am not saying this thread should not exist, but just... maybe not yet. I am unimpressed and not expecting James White to be a huge loss to us.

I didn't know his nickname was "Fight White." :( Maybe we had to move him b/c we brought in the Australian guy.

    14 FTA?

Man, he must have been attacking the basket. Maybe he just doesn't fit very well into a read and react offense.

He got to the free throw line a lot in the summer league as well, as I remember.

Luther Head did well yesterday too. He had 13 points, and a couple of threes for the Pacers.

The refs gave him most of his points. I would be worried if he shot 10/14 from the field that the Rox made a mistake. Hope he does well, regardless.

    I was at the game.

The only thing that White impressed me during the game was that he was probably the only player hitting his FT's. Didn't play defense displined. Rebounds were ones that bounced to him.

Most of his shots were due to Billups or Carter breaking down the defense and getting him chances to drive on a switching a defense. Also most of his minutes were against Utah's scrubs.

So don't really read too much into his minutes. It will be good if he sticks, but Joey Graham played much better than White did and he did it against Jazz rotation players.

Please Lord let him just be in one NBA dunk contest -- that's all I ask.

King James vs. Flight White -- greatest match up in many, many years.

You're crazy -- Howard changing in a telephone booth into superman was completely unexpected. How could something like that possibly be pre-planned ?

I know! I mean come on people, it's obvious that costume and phone booth were brought in on-the-fly.

this trade is probably morey's biggest blunder to date, especially when closely followed by the extension of brooks, unless he plans to use him in future trade
