He even earned one of these from Wood, after bickering the other night:

If he wasn't a rookie those would not have been charged. Lowry was still moving and shifting to the left. I don't think he even had 1 foot set. It was such bs.

He should pay close attention to EG when he drives. He beats his defender and then slows down to figure out how to beat the next defender in the paint. Green (KPJ too) beats his defender but unless the paint is wide open he doesn't know what to do when the next defender comes to help resulting in a wild attempt or charge. He'll learn. Stop and pop, euro step, floater... all would help. Takes time to learn.

Saw this little guy last night before I went to bed. Nice to see the whole video now though to see how happy he was. Little man was in tears. Love to see stuff like this. He’ll never forget that day.

Id like to see Green shooting 15 times a game minimum.

I am seeing improvements by him on the defensive side as well. Couldnt tell if it was just the janky uniforms last night but he already looks like he is adding muscle.

Classy move by the rook. He is showing improvement on and off the court.

Bad take. Theis and Nwaba we’re brought in for defensive purposes. You not liking the Green pick is fine as it’s your opinion but you’re wrong by saying Ra-Fell wasn’t focused on defense.

the game he got injured against Chicago, you got the sense that he was just starting to take off. Who knows what kind of run he would have gone on

almost at 40 percent shooting for the season as well

If he was indeed focused on Defense, then signing Theis as an undersized 5 to multiple years was a questionable move.

Didn't move the needle, did not improve the D much and impeded spacing.

I am saying if he tried, then he did fail because this was a bad Defense and historically bad the first 15 games.

Bad take probably, but not as bad as Rockets' Defense.

Is there any possibility that Silas is at fault here? A GM’s job is to acquire talent and the coaches job is to make them fit together. I’m not saying Stone should win executive of the year and/or is without blame but I tend to believe that this teams results were expected as it was purposely built as a super young team. The second half of this year will give us a good indication of what we have in Silas and the coaching staff. Next year is when we can get a feel for who Stone is in my opinion.

Either way Happy New Year brother. I hope we all have a great 22.

Maybe my takes are bad but I do want to get down to the truth behind it.

You cannot shake the feeling why a rookie coach was hired here in the first place.

    1. Is cheap.
    2. Listens to the owner and answers to the GM
    3. A convenient guy for the rebuild.
    3 b.
A convenient scape goat once that experiment fails and Stone is in the clear.
Let's face the music, Silas is flawed, has some good ideas, is a nice human being who could easily be manipulated for a cause.

    It's all too convenient.

I do sincerely deem the partnership between SIlas and Stone began as an honest one.

Green is by far the youngest player on that list. All those guys came at 22 years or older.

The Green experience is here, decent individual games on offense while helping the team get blown completely out. The tank commander that we both need and deserve.
