Yellowstone was blamed on never doing controlled burns and letting the forest get filled with dead wood and underbrush. The NM fire was caused by a controlled burn leaping it's boundaries. The Physics View: You can't contain the conversion of potential energy to kinetic energy. Energy will recycle on its own. The Religious View: In a world of much brimstone, there will be fire. The Politician View: Don't give me that academic rhetoric, I must blame a person, hopefully, just one person. It is easier that way.
