The "I" word should be on filter list for Clutchcity

    Before the season, many predictions were predicated by: "As long as we don't have any key i*******, we should be a contender."

    Hakeem, TMass, Barkley, Cato, Rogers, Francis (3 games)

    Now with Hakeem's fatigue, I propose we not only avoid the "I" word, but add it to the dirty word filter.

    it's like saying:
    "I hope we don't have engine trouble" before lift-off.
    "I hope it doesn't rain." when orgainizing an outdoor wedding
    "I hope we don't Choke this 20 point lead after the Oilers lost that game"
    "This game's in the bag as long as the Utah shot-clock operator is honest"
    "We're headed to the 7th game as long as Malone doesn't get away with bear-hugging Drexler on the final inbounds play."

    Who's with me, never to use the "I" word again on this BBS?

    Great. Now we're gonna have engine trouble, rain, blown leads, dishonest shot-clock operators, a frisky Malone AND injuries!

    I would just like to say that i admire all you guys...you guys come here and post no matter Rain or shine...it shows the diversity here..I just wanted to give all the members of ClutchCity a pat on the back...its time like these that fans are tested and we have all shined, on another note do you guys agree with Rudy's and others when the statement is made that if the Titans win the Superbowl it will help the Rockets/voters of Houston gather around to try and keep the rockets were the belong....I think it will affect a few..hopefully the ones that actually go out and vote...laterz

    Davo thinks that the Rockets will not make the playoff's, although Davo is very happy with the teams progress to date. Davo enjoys going to/watching every game because Davo thinks we have a very good chance of winning, no matter the opponent. [​IMG]

    shotcaller. very well said!!! I feel like i know every dude and dudette in here! injuries bite!!! They have been tearing us up since the championships. if stevie can stay healthy were OK. then good progress can happen. [​IMG] [​IMG] [​IMG](i like these smile faces!!!)
