You'd think that the "law professor" would know NY law instead of spreading disinformation. Oh wait, its turley, so I expect disinformation...

This should actually be a hue issue in the 2024 POTUS election. Being awake and attentive for most of the day should be a modest requirement for the job, no?

Merchan was "randomly" assigned to all three Trump trials...

Elise Stefanik files complaint against Juan Merchan alleging assignment over Trump case wasn't "random"
    MXM Exclusive

    Quick Hit:

New York Rep. and House Republican Conference Chair Elise Stefanik has filed a misconduct complaint against New York Judge Juan Merchan, alleging that his assignment to oversee Donald Trump's Manhattan hush money trial and other cases involving Trump's allies is not random. Stefanik's complaint calls for an investigation into whether the required random selection process was followed.

    Key Details:

Stefanik's complaint alleges potential misconduct related to the repeated assignment of Justice Merchan, a Democrat Party donor, to criminal cases related to Trump and his allies.

Justice Merchan presides over the criminal case against Trump brought by Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg, the criminal trial against the Trump Organization, and the upcoming criminal trial of Steve Bannon.

Stefanik argues that the probability of three specific criminal cases being assigned to the same justice is infinitesimally small, suggesting that the selection process may not have been random.

    Diving Deeper:

Stefanik's complaint, filed with the inspector general of the New York State Unified Court System, calls for an investigation into whether the required random selection process was followed in assigning Justice Merchan to these cases. She notes that there were at least two dozen sitting justices eligible to oversee the cases, yet Merchan, an acting justice, was selected for all three related to Trump and his allies.

He's mentally unfit to be President. Too stupid to understand much of anything, physically unable to even stay awake for his own trial, a sociopathic liar, and unable to comply to the laws of the country.

Agree with what others have said, or the replies I've seen anyway: you can't unring that bell. Especially true if it's something that matches the expectations of the hearer.

You would know better that almost any of us here, but it seems like the court system is an exercise in human beings try to overcome their basic nature. :)

I am amazed that his cult followers actually buy half the crap he spews, you have to be gullible (any quite dumb) to think that a gag order and testifying under oath are 2 completely different things........if king trump told his sheep the sky was red, they would believe it and fox would have a breaking news cycle.....................yikes, the sheep can't think on their own, they have to be spoon fed information

Was not expecting a fast verdict. There was a lot of evidence and counter arguments presented.
