Our beautiful Houston Texans will definitely make the playoffs before the Rockets do. The Texans have an excellent front office and the entire management is incredible. Today there was a new record of attendance at the Texans game, it was 77,994 something close to that. The game was a sell out at the Reliant Stadium. The Rockets can learn so much from that 2nd year expansion team. The Texans had nothing to play for, but fought their hearts out today against the Tennessee Titans. What a game, we almost pulled one out. The Rockets management is ridiculous. Just be happy that we have the Astros and the Texans to look forward to. I love the Texans. Learn Rockets. Learn.............A freakin 2 year expansion team.....WOW......

"Had nothing to play for"? Are you joking? They were playing for the pride of an entire city against an owner who bailed out on them.

You must be the Rockets' #1 fan only because you enjoy pissing on them.

As much as you think today's loss was a moral victory, I watched the Oilers back when they were fumbling away wins. The Texans loss to the Patriots and the Texans bring back the good ole days. I can still remember Curtis Duncan fumbling in that playoff game. The Texans better start closing out these games, or the spirit of the Oilers have entered their team.

Look, I'm excited for the Texans and Astros too but let's not get completely delerious with those types of statements. Least we not forget the Rockets were the FIRST organization to bring 2 World Championships to Houston (and I'm not counting that AFL championship the Oilers won either).

Truth is, Rockets is a class act organization better than any Houston sports franchise. Despite my malcontent and disproval of JVG's coaching style, the Rockets as a whole has given me more entertainment on a consistent basis than any Houston Franchise - at the moment. ;)

As a former Oiler season ticket holder circa (1990-1994), I still have more fun at a Rockets game than any other Houston team.

If the Rockets only played 16 games a season and had 6 days to practice and prepare for each game than hell yeah the games would be as intense and meaningful as the Texan games.
and listen here, how quick you have forgotten about the the glory days when the Rockets were thriving and the Oilers couldnt draw more than 12,00 fans. and i'll bet you 5 billion dollars the Rockets make the playoffs before the Texans do. put your money wear your fat mouth is dude.

    John Mclain sucks.

I'm with Mr. Kaiser up there. The Rockets will definitely make the playoffs this year and the Texans definitely won't. And there you have it.

Yeah they fought their hearts out only to crack under pressure from a scared of his own shadow quarterback.

Now do not get me started on the 1st round exit team we call Astros. Seems the power hitting of Bags and Bigs always seems to fly south when we make the playoffs....

I have a question....How come the Texans do not "fight" their hearts out everygame?

The texans suck, but that's my opinion, i think fotball sucks, they stole that name from the real football(soccer), but anyways, basketball is such a fast and exiting sport that it can not be compared to football or baseball. but as far as organizations and front offices goes, i have to admit that the texans have the edge over the astros and the rockets.

Yeah...but football( american) is like boxing, it's such a physically damanding sport. It's not for people that are soft, oh yeah...soccer sucks too.

maybe if the Lakers are paying the Kings or the Mavericks are playing the T-Wolves.... other than that NBA basketball is about as far removed from "exiting" as it gets.

and I second the soccer sux comment.

I think you must mean guys like Charlie Casserly and the owner Bob McNair. I think Rockets management as far as the signing and selection of players is pretty inept in recent years. Charlie Casserly made a bonehead draft selection in getting David Ragone in the 3rd round when he had pressing needs along the offensive line and defensive line. 3rd string backup QBs can be had in through free agency. However, Casserly picked Dominick Davis. Casserly has got to do a lot more to match the the Eddie Griffin debacle.
