Did you all know about this? The State Department holds a lottery to award 55,000 green cards in the name of <b>diversity</b>. One of the 19 "suspected hijackers" from 9/11 is known to have entered the US that way. It's coming up again on 10/7 and apparently there are no plans to stop it. Ah, diversity, we may have a shortage of blood-thirsty anti-American terrorists on our shores... BTW, I heard the other day that one of the Lackawanna, NY cell members had entered the US 10 years ago-- maybe it was the same way.
The government fears that many terror cell participants entered the country via this lottery. Why we have a green card lottery based on diversity I have no idea. If that diversity includes Saudis and persons from other nations seeking to do us harm...then I say scrap it. The very idea of a green card lottery to ensure that we have a requisite number of various groups of people is insane. There's a reason why no other nation does this.
