Not so much sports history as sports video game history. Im one season into my new Madden 2003 Franchise mode and Ray Lewis has a career ending injury.

Why would god do something like this? Anyone else have something so tragic happen to them?

The lead on my pencil broke last night and I had to cry myself to sleep.

well, in our Madden sim, ChuckG's Lions had Joey Harrington go out with a career ending injury in the middle of his 1st season. Was going to be ROY easily too.

and today I got so mad with Mark Brunell playing the Jets i threw my controller which sent my whole PS2 crashing on the ground and now it won't start up :(

Ouch. Worst I've ever done is bust up a few controllers here or there.

If you are one year into it, why don't you just start over?

Yeah I hate it when that crap happens. I always end up bidding with about five seconds to go, but someone always ends up outbidding me!

Started a franchise with Cincy. Drafted a CB w/ the 1st pick Thomas Bradford. He came out preason with a rating of 84. Got hurt for the season 3rd game of the year. Already had 4 picks and 2 TD's. I played the whole season and found out he retired w/ a career ending injury. Needless to say i was pretty upset and quit that franchise

if my toenails didn't hurt so much, I'd have to agree with you.
