Didn't the lead singer for AIC die awhile back? Are they still good?

Too bad The Stray Cats aren't playing with ZZ Top in Houston like they are in Dallas. I would have gone to that at the Woodlands. I'll pass on this one.

If "rock" means "bullsh*t", then yes, Velvet Revolver is the greatest rock band on Earth. :D

At least there are real guitars and live drums and bass and EVERYTHING on this record. :) It's pretty rare nowadays.

    Hell no.

Soundgarden > Pearl Jam > STP

But it's not a huge difference between the 3. And Nirvana definitely ranks up there with the 3 bands. I prefer Soundgarden, but I will admit that Nirvana probably had a bigger influence on the world.

Jar of Flies is still in my regular rotation. It's one of my favorite albums ever. I kind of wish they wouldn't tour as AIC, but at least they attempt to celebrate Layne instead of forget him...

Velvet Revolver is far from the greatest rock band (we all know that) but they aren't bad at all -- their new single is good.

Alice in Chains without Lane Staley is not the same band at the least change the name a bit -- Shirley in Chains, Debby in Chains, or Cindy in Chains.
