blame him all you want, but if he throws that out of bounds, they have a 55 yard FG attempt that probably doesn't happen. it'd have been a go-for-it-on-4th-down coming up
Longwell is one of the best kickers in the game, and would be kicking in a dome. He'd absolutely have gotten a shot at the 55 yard FG.
yeah you're right. i was hoping for/expecting favre to continue running there when i saw it open. he prob could have gotten another 5 even on the gimpy leg
How the hell do three posters in this thread (including the OP) spell Brett FAVRE'S name wrong? He's only been around for a couple of decades.
Farve?...lol..... The dude played hard got smashed, made a bad play....he was not the only one. Peterson fumbles, Harvin fumbles....the better team won. DD
It's Fav-Ruh. There's Something About Brett... Why do you build me up (build me up) Buttercup, baby Just to let me down (let me down)and mess me around And then worst of all (worst of all) you never call, baby When you say you will (say you will) but I love you still I need you (I need you) more than anyone, darlin' You know that I have from the start So build me up (build me up) Buttercup, don't break my heart
You'd think if you were going to make an appreciation thread for someone you'd start by spelling their name right.
Teams that turn the ball over a lot, as Minnesota did today - giving the opponent shorter fields - inherently have a lot more total yards because the other team has a shorter distance to go and runs fewer plays. Granted, the Vikings did average an extra yard per play - but that's not as lopsided as the "nearly 200 more yards" stat would make it seem.
