http://thinkprogress.org/justice/2011/10/17/345531/herman-cain-liberal-court-killed-jesus/ I wonder what cult he blongs to. Rick Perry probably had people who can tell us that. Seems Mr. Cain's prior writings/radio talks are a rather fertile ground for oppo research.
How does he reconcile Jesus's anti-bank agenda? Seems like Jesus would be on board with Occupy Wall Street.
The "perfect conservative" opined that we should gave away all our possesions away and that rich men could not enter the kingdom of heaven?
Herman Cain is basically conservative p*rn. Like Goldwater or the Clinton impeachment, he'll obviously lose; but he'll probably help define conservatism for an entire generation. You know, like p*rn.
Jesus was mad at the topless chick and her babies? I like the bloggers in the lower right hand corner, too.
Obviously he's not mad at bankers, he's mad at the Arab Muslims. Just look at how these guys are dressed.
Let's have Christ our President Let us have him for our king Cast your vote for the Carpenter That you call the Nazarene The only way we can ever beat These crooked politician men Is to run the money changers out of the temple Put the Carpenter in O It's Jesus Christ our President God above our king With a job and a pension for young and old We will make hallelujah ring Every year we waste enough To feed the ones who starve We build our civilization up And we shoot it down with wars But with the Carpenter on the seat Way up in the Capital town The USA would be on the way Prosperity Bound! -- Woody Guthrie
Why would you prefer a bad ass mofo to a criminally violent male prostitute? Just because he included Titian, Raphael, and Michelangelo with Christ? View of Toledo owns Christ Driving the Money Changers..., though.
The state killed the unlicensed Jewish preachers whom Anointed Savior was meant to symbolize; but ironically enough at a time when it most closely resembled private industry, when wars, weddings and coronations served the same purpose that proxy votes do today.
Poor Herman Cain. He just can't say anything without saying something crazy. Mitt Romney is surrounded by crazy people. And though there are a lot of crazy people in the Republican electorate, I think there are still more sane ones. So the weakest front-runner since McCain or Kerry or Dole, will probably win the nomination as did McCain, Kerry and Dole. And the lack of passion for Romney might mean that Obama will squeak by -- an amazing thing, if it happens, for an incumbent presiding over such a bad economy. I am amazed every day that, with such a vulnerable incumbent, the GOP field is so poor and that the game is locked. Who let that happen? I'd like to send him or her a thank you card.
Are we sure it's locked? The most shocking thing to me on election night was watching Virginia, North Carolina and Florida go blue; are we sure that will happen this time if they pick a level-headed guy with business and governing experience? Is he gonna hold Ohio and Indiana?
I meant that the GOP nomination race is locked, as in no one else can get in. I wasn't making a prediction about the race. The last time I did, I predicted Perry in a walk. Which is just further evidence that predicting anything this early is a fool's errand.
this post lead to interesting reading, thanks. failed to find the story behind Valentin de Boulogne & his crime(s)
I think it's been very predictable from the beginning Romney would take the GOP nomination. He won't be the strongest opposition candidate ever, but don't underestimate his chances against Obama (who might be weaker than GWB was in 2004). I guarantee you Romney won't run a totally pathetic campaign next year like Kerry did. It will be a very negative race with lots of mudslinging by both sides. In that kind of presidential campaign, the GOP's skills blow away the Dems.
