Its like their family is the exact opposite of the Hills from KOTH. except the son is a bigger, fatter, African Bobby Hill named Ubuntu.
I liked it, but I don't know if there are enough funny supporting characters to keep the show interesting.
I was also thinking that they will probably need some pretty good supporting characters to keep it running. But at least I feel it has potential.
If the first episode was the actual Pilot, then maybe some significant changes have been made that we'll notice by ep 2. But ABC seems to have an itchy axing finger. That Bob Saget show got pulled after 4 eps back in April even though it averaged more viewers than the Office ever did and now they are letting it burn off the remaining eps during the summer.
That Saget show is horrendous though. Goode Family was actually humorous. Alas, it wouldn't be the first animated series to be canceled early.
Like someone said, this family is the exact opposite of the Hills. The show is kinda similar, but the family is totally opposite if that makes any sense . I liked it, especially for a pirate. I liked the Dad character the best.
my roommate DVR'd this and had it on while I was doing laundry. I thought it was pretty funny. Seems like the joke will get old after a season or two, tho.
