Well my girlfriend came out with her head shaking but I thought it was pretty funny. It was pretty ridiculous at the end but I guess I can accept ridiculousness in movies (that's why I liked LXG). It's kind of American Pie-ish, but the material isn't as fresh. I would rate it after AP I, and American Wedding but before AP II. Anyway, Ebert gave it like zero stars but I have to disagree, he opposed it on the ground that the material was too sleazy, but I mean what was he expecting? On a side note. Walking by the poster again today reminded me that Jersey Girl was actually a pretty good movie. I liked it. Ben Affleck is a really bad actor... but he wasn't exposed too bad in this one. George Carlin to my surprise did a great job. Also... saw a trailer for Ella Enchanted... see I've been making fun of it without seeing any scenes. It actually looks a lot more substantative than the Princess Diaries. I probably won't have time to watch though... bummer.
How about some fresh ideas? I haven't seen the movie, but I'm pretty sure I have a good feel for it. Crap is crap, regardless of aspirations, genre, or "what should be expected". See Eternal Sunshine if you haven't already. At least there's one guy in Hollywood with some original ideas.
I saw this months ago when they had sneak preview on a Saturday, I REALLY liked it and though it was VERY original. Plus having Elisa Cuthbert, Amanda Swistan (the french maid from American Wedding) and Sung Hi Lee doesnt hurt either.
Are those girls your dates No mom their pornstars... I have to remember to use that. But I hated Jersey Girl, Even if it had JLO in it... It was honestly like watching Full House all over again.
yep i'm with you there... i actually see everything... it's just that there's not always good movies to see.

i just got home from seeing girl next door. i really enjoyed it and elisha cuthbert is defintely one of the hottest females on this planet. much much better than i expected, see it if you liked any of the american pies.

what man? i'm just tellin' the truth yo! how can she continue the sultry vixen persona into her late thirties and forties? i mean what are we talking bo derek? i think her movie roles are already switching out of that image. like for example jersey girl or the new one coming out with richard gere. which seems interesting. anyhow... not saying mature women can't be attractive... but i'm just saying not necessarily hot and sexy. anyway... a. i'm set, and b. i guess i'll keep her away from the board.
right that's the comparison... but the humor is a little more low-brow. i guess as a movie it's not as good as risky business, which was a great movie... but i mean it will give you more laughs because it's more slapstick gross out comedy. the audience at the showing i was at really laughed a lot.
Well, at least we got to see Lana nude in Risky Business. I hear they don't show Elisa nude at all. Come on, she's supposed to be a p*rn star!! I won't be seeing this movie...
you know what? i told her about this(the JLo thing) and she agreed with me. i guess i'm lucky that my girl isn't hyper sensitive... although i've never tried "i'd do christina aguilera in the pooper..."
I'm not talking about JLo. I'm talking about "women over 35 aren't hot." When she is 34 (assuming you are still together), try repeating that phrase. Or, maybe you could just say now, "Man, all women under 24 are so stupid."
There's plenty of hot older women.....but I do have to wonder how long before J-Lo's big hot boody becomes just another cottage cheese fat ass.
