If Peter Vescey is right then the spurs could be getting a lot better starting in 2003. http://www.nypost.com/sports/43213.htm That is the link from the front page that clutch posted. It basically say's that Antonio McDyess would not mind going to SA when his contract expires. Imagine a line up that included: Tony Parker two years older and improved. Antonio McDyess at PF Tim Duncan at Center There has got to be a championship somewhere in that group of players.
Peter is talking out of his ass. I doubt if 10-15 blockbuster players would be involved in deals this upcoming summer/season. Remember last season, There was over 17 deals I can remember. And if more deals go down, especially blockbuster ones (where franchise recognizable players leave) that's just a lot worse for the NBA. And if Peter is right in all those deals (Especially the Wally deal) then I will be surprizingly shocked at the Timberwolves Organization. Wally's not the type of guy to demand money. Seems like there forcing him out in the way of a Trade . Which will have my mind totally blown because I don't see the point in trading a all star, not to mention 3 years pro, Shooting Guard. They can't find another one of those players in a dirt field anytime soon
