...and congratulations to the new FBB champions, Castor's New Orleans Hornets. And Congrats to DV's Phoenix Suns for a great playoff run to the finals. The final 2 games were both close. In game 5 with the Suns down 4 and a miss with 16 seconds left, the game appeared to be over. However, a stolen pass by Hardaway and Marion bucket, followed by a Marion steal and miss at the buzzer were enough to have all the fans holding their breath in New Orleans. Game 6 was another great game, capped off by a Carter block and 3 pointer in the final minute to seal the deal. The final series count was 4-2, and Vince Carter was named the Playoff MVP, as the Hornets followed the 94-95 Rockets path in becoming the 2nd 6th seed to go on to win the title. Next on the FBB schedule is final resignings, retirements and the draft lottery. I will post retirements tomorrow, and the lottery will be tomorrow at 7:00 pm central.
It will be a huge injustice if the Pistons do not get the #1 pick. They worked really hard for it too.
