    I feel Texas is misrepresented.

    http://www.health.com/health/gallery/0,,20393387,00.html

    Some of the uh, highlights:

    Alabama: Bacon Wrapped Meatloaf

    Colorado: 7 pound breakfast burritos

    Michigan: BLT

    S Carolina: Turducken

    and of course, Texas....

    ???
    I mean, come on Health.com....

Texas should be a giant ass steak.

Seems like there are more places in Texas that challenge you to eat a 72 oz steak than any other state in the union.

Alright, let's not go crazy now. Go to any state fair and you'll see it.

*EDIT* : BTW, that BLT for Michigan is real. They really give you that much bacon at that place. I saw it on a Food Network (?) tv show. I had a heart attack just watching the show.

Congratulations. You have won the Understatement of the Year Award.

Pretty much sums up my thoughts. WTF is wrong with these people? Ribeye? Chicken fried steak? Cream gravy? Deep fried bacon? Nah....let's give Texas a freakin' CORNDOG, y'all.

They gave the chicken fried steak to Oklahoma.

We need to declare war on somebody.

    THIS WILL NOT STAND!!!!

Damn good beef, actually. Mickey Mantle's Steakhouse in Bricktown in downtown OKC is one of the best steaks I've ever had. But given beef and all the different things you can do with it (steak, chicken fried steak, burgers, and all the various kinds of bbq), there's more than enough to go around than to saddle Texas with a ******* CORNDOG.

I love corn dogs. In fact, I actually have a corn dog air freshener having from my rearview mirror. But come on.

Texas should have been represented by CHICKEN FRIED STEAK, Oklahomos be damned. Could have at least been cheese enchiladas or something.

That list was really disgusting. I can't believe people would eat most of those things.

I can understand why they gave us the corn dog (Texas is one of a handful of places given credit for its birthplace; the Texas State Fair, etc.), but damn, that's like sending a baby into a war.

Despite your logic, I say it doesn't make sense. Why not a funnel cake or deep fried twinkie or some other silly festival fare?

I suggest we raise hell in their comments section.
