What the Rockets management have done in the past five years except Stevie's luck on lottery? Nothing!

It started with the ridiculous contracts to Cato, Mo and Moochie.

Then three first round picks for EG.

Combining these two things together, the Rockets lose youth and salary cap manuveur room.

The coming of JVG is like giving salt water to a thirsty guy. His coaching style drove Stevie crazy, which ended with trading for TMac with unbearable price.

Now in order to save his ass, JVG starts to whip Yao like a mad man and only plays players with grandchildren.

Look at this Houston team, except Yao and TMac, it has nothing and it is ridiculously old.

Do you guys really think Motumbo, Ward, JJ, Spoon and Howard will have anything to do with Houston's championship runs?
The fact is they are all JVG type players and respect JVG, in return JVG offer them jobs and significant minutes.

For a team like Houston which has no draft picks and has no salary cap room, it needs to try something unconventional to develop young talents who will accompany Yao and TMac to make a championship run. (For God's sake, the Dallas team which is overloaded is still keeping trying their new guys.)

The fact that JVG refuses to play Boki is so telling. If you want to go deep, you will find out that JVG never develop young talents.

So now we have a Houston franchise heavily lean on Yao, TMac and JVG. And now JVG is driving Yao out of town. We all know JVG once was a quiter in NY. We all know TMac once quit on Orlando.

If Yao run for his life, or his happiness, or his LA dream or whatever, are you sure JVG and/or TMac won't quit on you again?

A scary scenario, right? To avoid it, the first thing is to fire JVG, then hire a new coach who is commited to developing young talents.

I seriously wish you would just leave

The roster is not set, the team knows that, management knows that, JVG knows that. Moves will be made with the core of Yao and McGrady intact

This is like watching the X-Files with all it's conspiracy theories...look lanqui...most of the points you made are all based on pure speculation. How the heck to you know for a FACT that JVG is driving Yao out of Houston? In any event, why don't you just take the fatalistic approach and just stop watching the Rockets until JVG is fired/retired/leaves.

my god....that is the biggest bunch of supposition and outright exaggeration that I have seen here in many a day...

It aint worth my, or any other reasonable fans time to respond to the wild and inaccurate claims presented in the initial post....

I will say two things tho....

    1) Dont forget to vote folks...lets show him what we think of worthless thread starters.....the little thing down at the bottom that says Rate This Thread...do the right thing

    2) PLONK
(if you dont know what that means, ask someone with usenet experience or google it)

seriously lanqiu, it's fine to be a YOF. Most chinese fans starts with that attitude and later become a rox fan anyway. but while you are at it, can you try not to provoke the whole board in the process?

some of the thread you started lately is a bit... hmm... frustrating to read... :(

I said it before and I'd say it again.

Van Grumpy has transformed the Rockets into a New York Knicks old folks home. :D

I have no doubt YAO and T-MAC will win championships together!!! But Van Grumpy and the rest of the old foagies ain't gonna be around when that happens!!! :D

Don't post threads to discuss the same thing already being discussed in another thread. It is a waste of server space.
