    Consider this,

This year, for the first time in 3 yearsthe Rockets will be opening the season without a Rookie projected as a starter.

In 98/99, we started with Olajuwon, Barkley, Pippen, Dickerson and Mobley - two rookies, 3 new to team.
In 99/2000 we started with Olajuwon, Barkley, Williams, Anderson, Francis - one rookie, 3 new to team

This year, Olajuwon, Taylor, Williams, Anderson, Francis - NO rookies, ONE new to team

We are a more stable than in recent history - "Rebuilding" is a relative term.

Good post...I agree....But Mo is new, Cato is gonna be in the line-up more....Langhi will get a lot of SF minutes....but, 7-10 games into the season, all that will fall into place...

Not only that, davo, but returning 10 players from last year with only 3 new additions. Finally, a step in the right direction towards building team chemistry (largely responsible for title number one).
