I just heard on the radio that here in the NYC area, we are going to get about 12-20 inches of SNOW and 80mph winds. The worst part is that the whole thing starts tomorrow afternoon and runs through early WEDNESDAY!!!

WTF!!! I never been in one of these!

    HOLY SHIZNET!!

I'd rather endure a good ole' Nor'easter than have a massive meteorite land on top of my head.

Almu, bro, I really feel for you and I can relate to what's going to happen. I lived in Northern New Jersey for almost 20 years, and I had to deal with these things frequently.

Get your supplies NOW (food, drinks, batteries, candles, etc.). I'll be thinking about you. Good luck!!

    Almu,

Just think of it as a hurricane party! [IMG]

Locked in for three days with no way to move around!

Seriously, though it could of not come at a worse time. I open a play on Friday and the next two days of rehearsal is critical.

If we're shut down, we're in a world of hurt!

In '96 we got 30 inches in January. I couldn't leave the house for two days!

I just got to work after locking myself indoors for 2 days. It was all hype!

Damn weather people. They get paid for this?

Imagine if I go into my boss and say "John, we are going to be 10 million over the budget! We need to re-structure some accounts" only to find out that my words were not only wrong but people lost their American Express privilages! [IMG]

I would be in a world of trouble and these people get to keep their jobs?

The forecasts states that we are going to get a small "blast" of snow this weekend. Now, most of you are educated. What do you think is gonna happen? [IMG]
