I just remembered that the Texans still have to play the Eagles. I say the Eagles put up 72 points on the 32nd ranked pass defense. If Andy Reid just schooled the two Shanahans, I don't even want to know what he will do to Kubiak. Then I think McNair will be forced to pull the plug on the coaching staff! I can't wait!.

    Texans will win this game.

Reasoning: Where the Texans and nothing makes sense.

Remember when The Texans went 7-9 with David Carr, our best season at that point. Everybody said the following year was going to be the one we go to the playoffs, what happened...we finished 2-14.

I see another melt down in the making this year, honestly I would not be surprised if they did not win another game. I do think though it will probably be a 6-10 season with wins over Jacksonville and Denver at the end. Those two extra wins should be just about good enough for Bob to keep Gary for another year ;)

    There's a reason. 8-8 anyone?

Let's just be glad the Texans will probably be in the history books because of that game.

Right now they average 409 yards given up per game, 15 yards per game more and they'll be on pace to be the worst defense in league history. The 1981 (Baltimore) Colts hold most of the records, and the Texans won't be able to catch up as far as points allowed and touchdowns allowed, but ypg is within reach.

I say this with the hopes that
    1) Contrary to what Kubiak says, Bush is not doing a fine job.
    2) #1 doesn't matter anyways if McNair is tired of being embarrassed and tells Kubiak to GTFO.

No more bull**** money saving schemes for McNair. Somebody ought to send the building and health inspectors to Reliant and get the place shutdown if they start losing again. Maybe that'll get Bob's f-ing attention. The guy only cares that this r****ded city bought him a giant colloseum at the price of consistent misery. He really doesn't deserve what he has.

Texans will lose to the Jets and go 4-6

and SOMEHOW win 4 of the last 6 games

    and ends up 8-8.

then everyone starts thinking there's HOPE for NEXT YR!

I think the media is going to get to McNair. Look at all of the articles out there saying what Texans fans were saying last season. Look at the way announcers are baffled by some of Kubiak's play calls.

The worst thing as a fan is to have the media call out you're team, specially during the game. They constantly question our coach. That is humiliating. Yet they hardly ever question our players.

Give Andre a chance to play for a winning coach. He deserves that much.

DOn't worry fans the media is on our side, McNair will cave and fire Kubiak even if we end up 8-8

I did a quick looksee at the Eagles starters (link ) and got

8 of the 11 starters on both sides of the balls are as young as the Texans starters.

Sad really. The Eagles are a good team that appears to have reloaded on the fly. This is what a well run football organization looks like.

I can't even stand to watch 3 hours of Texans implosions. I'm addicted to NFL Redzone, it's my drug of choice. I'm so sick and tired of the same mistakes every game by this team and the coaching staff it makes my stomach turn, therefore I do not watch.

Losing important games by hail marys is still better than not having a football team in Houston.

1997 to 2001 sucked around here.

    Be thankful.

I don't follow the NFL, but wasn't that the year Carr decided to not get a haircut until the team gets a win? If I'm not mistaken his hair grew longer than Jesus' hair.

    Now that's leadership.
