ESPN has Cleveland , Chicago and Memphis as their elite eight. No Rockets. Thats it! Since it seems anyone can write a sports column, and have it published on the internet I'm quitting my day job and becoming a sports writer. Where do they find such pathetic and non-informative writers. Mind boggling... http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/page2/story?page=neel/050311&num=2
They did not sum up the 8 best teams. i think they looked at the match ups as they are now in the first round, So Houston would play Seatle, and they think Seatle will win(not a strange thought) that is why Houston is not in the elite eight. they did say that Seatle is and should be scared for Yao(and the rockets). altough they think SA will be first and Phoenix second, and then they think Phoenix will lose to Memphis. So the fans that have more right to be mad then us are Suns fans
Keep in mind, he's doing this in BRACKET format (like the NCAA's)... meaning there have to be 4 West teams and 4 East teams in the elite eight. Its not that they're putting all the east teams ahead of the Rockets, its that they're in a different bracket. If anything, he's just saying that the Rockets are not a top 4 Western team.
he also writes that SA will hold out Duncan for the first two rounds and unveil him in the Conference Finals.. which is totally bunk...without Duncan...they dont make it to the WCF. as usual....Page 2 stuff is not to be taken seriously....much like Charles BArkley. I swear...you guys get too worked up over what the media says.
BTW does anybody know who he calls: The Tough Guys. because he jsut said that minesota denver and lakers will not make it. so who will? It is not an importend article.
