The Duncan meter is on! The Rockets will wisely play out this roster, see how well they can do,save money, and make a run for Duncan. In 2 yrs Steve will be 25, Cat 29, Griffin 21, Taylor 26 and Duncan will be 28. The team will still be pretty young and making a move.This is Walt's last year, Thomas has 2 more, and Cato will still be eating up salary. He will be part of the sign and trade in 2 yrs that will be his biggest asset. Deep in the Rockets brass's form of thinking that this is the plan. Maybe thats why they're not really to thrilled about adding another salary,i.e. Marc Jackson. Even though he's the Same age as Duncan,they have their eye's on the prize,which is good. Compete now, show improvement,then when you open your new arena, you'll have Duncan,Griffin,Taylor,Cat,and Franchise! I really like that lineup. All of this goes for not if they sign Jackson, which isn't a bad move either.
