at the Rockets game need to go. I realize that attendance at the Summit has been crappy, and the Rockets deserve to play in a better atmosphere, but those guys are really annoying. It just seems like a marketing ploy that will never get off the ground.

I hope to drum parttime for the Rockets when I am older, so I hope they stay.

The drummer guys rock and according to Tim, they've gotten positive feedback on them... they need to stay. The drumming is pretty wicked.

I was watching the players during the pre-game introductions and Franchise had his head down during the drumming. I think they gave him a migraine. Franchise seems a little out of it tonight. Get rid of the drumming if Franchise indeed is feeling the migraines.

Question is: should it matter if the players dig the drummers or not during the introductions? I know through a friend of mine who is friends with some of the coaches. He says that the players can't stand it. They seem to think they have the worst introductions. I think it works for the offense defense stuff, but not the intro.

I was watching the intros when I went to Hakeem's ceremony and at least 3 of the Rockets players were bouncin' to it.

The bounce to make fun of it. I said the same thing, and the response I got was they mock it. Just because they do something does not necessarily mean they like it.

drummers are much better than silly piped-in music by lame MTV psuedo stars like Kid Rock.

imo, bring on the horns, too.

I love the drums, but man do they EVER need to get them tuned. At times, they sounded like tin cans. Yuck!

I myself like the drumming. I saw Mobes a few games back slapping his legs to the beat of the drums.

You gotta say, it is much better than the motocycle thing.

The clown facepaint is annoying but it's better then playing "Who Let The Dogs Out" over the loudspeakers.

I like the drums. There is something about drums that pump me up. The thing that kinda ruins the intro is when they have turbo and clutch do their thing behind the curtain. Seeing a Bear shake his belly behind a curtain does nothing to get me or the players pumped up. Lose it.

I like the drummers. The face paint is questionable, but it's a minor quibble.

If you watch real close between times that they play..there is one guy who has a headset, just like one of the powerdancers do..they are told when to do their thing by someone in charge..it isnt their call on when to drum..

I agree that the intro sucks...I like em during the game tho...DE---FENSE...DE--FENSE!!
