So on tonight's ep of the Apprentice, they have a pizza selling mission. The company they use is Dominos, which is strange because I remember people here pointing out that you can't find these chains in NYC. Anyways, in the last commercial break, somebody delivers a "cheese burger" pizza to the Donald and the delivery guy explains it. Then he goes "You know, you should take a cheeseburger and put that on a pizza, blah blah you should be paying me for this idea." I've never seen the Donald actually do this, but I have seen Darrell Hammond do it when doing those "Trump" sketches where he's recording promos for the Apprentice.
What was more funny was that the episode was about meatball pizza, and Trump talks about how Dominoes is going to use that idea. But then during the commercial break, dominoes is selling cheeseburger pizza. Then, Papa John's has a commercial for meatball pizza. Talk about stealing the thunder.
Was it the commercial where they make fun of the Apprentice? I just saw that they have that at their website: http://papajohns.com/ . I ordered that pizza earlier this week, but they didn't even make it right. There were no onions, peppers, or that spicy sauce. I had forgotten that it was supposed to have that stuff until I was on my third slice. No way I could send it back at that point.
