Thanks a lot! Anybody who watched him play could nothing but love that guy. He had his emotional issues, which showed on the court - he could get technicals quickly - but he was awesome. We could use him right now, strong rebounder, good shot blocker, would bully through any defense and throw it down. He was crucial to the 94 Nuggets upset of the Sonics, too bad he died when he was at his peak with the Pistons.

I guess its a sign of growing old because I will never understand these getups that Wade and Russell Westbrook seem to wear on the regular.

I'm wondering, what is weird / sociopathic about Abdul-rauf & Hornacek?

The Bulls team with Dele off the bench was the best Bulls team of all time IMO.

Patricia Phillips said she loved both her sons. Then a cousin of the family, the Rev. Eugene Marzette, spoke. “The fact of the matter is,” he said, looking out at the gathering of 200, “only God knows the truth.”

It's sad, to be so gifted intellectually and physically with so much to offer, only to be cursed into a family of vultures! The quote above can explain much of his personal issues and why he went half way around the world in search self purpose, and to escape the leaches that surrounded him.

Thanks OP, that was a great read...

Didn't realize Bison Dele was as gifted a human being as he was. Thought the article was very well written. Seems like all the signs point to some foul play on the part of the brother - sucks to be taken out by your own family.
