John Denton of the Florida Today reports: The Orlando Magic have 16 players in training camp - one more than they will be allowed to keep on the roster once the regular season starts - but that doesn't mean they aren't still looking to add pieces to the puzzle.

Magic general manager John Gabriel said Wednesday night that his team is still searching for point guard depth and might soon sign another free agent.

Some of the players available include Rod Strickland, Moochie Norris, Matt Maloney, Doug Overton and Chris Herren. That crop of point guards was thinned out recently when Damon Jones signed with Houston and Shammond Williams returned to Seattle.

 I truly believe Norris Agent is trying to do a sign and trade with Orlando as one of the teams included in the trade. Why else who Norris hold out. He trying to Bank or use it to made the Rox come up with more money. He keep stating that it's just business. The Rox done the right thing in signing Jones. I like Moochie, but it's time out for the H-O-R-S-E S**T, it's time to play ball. Come on aboard or The Rox will cut the losses.

Houston, we have a lift off!!!!!!! Playoff Bound!!!!!!!

Shut up, and show me what you are working with!

    Show me some ATTITUDE!!!!!

Outlaw makes 6 million this year.

So, since both teams are over the cap, we'd have to match salaries that are 15% or closer to 6 million.

There is no way Mooch alone gets 6 million per year. So, that'd mean Mooch and change for Outlaw.

I love Outlaw, but we have a logjam at SF/PF as is. Unless we ship Moochie and Langhi or another SF, it doesn't seem feasible.

Outlaw's worth goes down some with the new rules. He's a man-to-man defender who can't shoot a lick.

How about Mooch for one of Orlando's surplus #1 picks?
