*****I AM SORRY TO SHARE THIS FACT WITH ANY DIEHARD HOUSTON ROCKET FAN*****************
The decree, that I have come up with after watching the NBA for so long, is that ALLEN IVERSON is simply TOO F**KING good for any other NBA player to even come close to him(AND THAT INCLUDES STEVIE FRANCHISE).Are any of you paying any attention to this sick series between the woeful Toronto Raptors and the 76ers? Did any of you see the amazing show Ivy put on after he recieved his rightful MVP? 52 points, afetr a previous 54 points!Plus they murdered the Raptors by 33! DAMN! I don't know wether S.F will ever have a series like the one Al is having. I mean Iverson is winning everything this year. It's almost enough to make you sick, cause the guys only a meager 6 feet nothin', 160 pounds. I think the Rockets and Steve should definitely model there system after the Sixers. If Steve can do what Al has done for the Sixers than Houston would not be in this predicament right now. If A.I was on the Rockets instead of S.F, Houston would definitely be a playoff team. Anyways, after this series is over, Vince should go home and bury his head under a pillow and cry, cause he is getting his education, while Iver is schooling that entire team! I seriously wish that Francis can do the same. And it's a shame that he can't.
    ***AND THAT IS THE TRUTH***

BTW, does the word "timing" mean anything at all to you? Because the "woeful" Toronto Raptors and Vince Carter are drubbing the Sixers and the "rightful MVP"(Bull**** - Duncan), Allen Iverson.

    Very bad timing.

Also, being in the Leastern conference, his accomplishments don't carry the same weight as if he had done them out in the West.

Right *now* Frances may not be producing 52 or 50 whatever *yet* but Steve is just in his 2nd year.Steve also plays a different position than Iverson.(*pointguard*)Iverson I last checked played the off guard position.Anyways Iverson has had a while to make the playoffs. And now that I think about Allen certainly did not bang 52 in his first or second years. When we get the right pieces like Iverson has now then this could be arguable.

-Hey, checkout those woefull Raptors tonight.I think Allen just scored 2 points in the final quarter.

    Toronto wins 101-89

Iverson scores 20 points on 6-24 (25%) shooting. Only 2 points in the 4th quater.

I know this is the wrong forum, but I had to respond to this. What happened to your boy Ivy tonight? 6-24 shooting, 20 pts in the biggest game of his season-- on a night where he had a chance to go to the conference finals, where he's never been. Meanwhile, his competition, Carter, is leading his team to a 20 point victory gathering 39 pts, 5 reb, 5 asst on 17-31 shooting. I think lots of players can be and possibly are better than Iverson, and that can include Carter, Kobe, McGrady, and maybe even Francis. Iverson has good speed, a decent touch, and a number of other star attributes. But it's kind of easy for him to showcase himself and look like a superstar on a team where he gets to jack up 30-35 shots per night. Him getting MVP over Tim Duncan was a complete joke by the way-- but I guess that's the price you pay for playing with a small market team.

HEY, GOLDBERG, JUST FOR YOUR FUTURE INFORMATION, IVY DID HAVE A 50 POINT GAME IN HIS FIRST YEAR, AND HE WAS THE ONLY ROOKIE TO DO IT THAT YEAR TOO!

ALSO FOR YOUR REFERENCE CAT, IF YOU ACTUALLY PAYID ATTENTION TO THE GAME, THE SIXERS LOST BY 12, AND NOT TWENTY. BY THE WAY, MY BOY IS STILL GONNA GO TO THE CONFERENCE FINAL.

The game was not as close as the score indicated. Like I said before - Bad timing.

Also, this is fun. We should have a stupid post by another teams fan every week. It'll liven things up in the offseason.

My bad, but what I am trying to say is, is that Stevie is a 1 guard that actually penatrates to create for others which means Steve tries to help his team as a whole.

Right now Iverson IS better than Francis, but they have the same talent level. Francis will have just as good a career as Iverson, maybe better. They are both gifted and spectacular athletes.

Spare me. If the Rockets were in the Leastern conference they would still be playing, and if the Sixers were in the West, they would not. Leastern conference playoff teams do not impress me.

And that wasn't bad timing. Bad timing is posting a message glorifying Allen Iverson on the same night he's having a terrible game.

NXT3, you are a example of what we don't need here at clutchcity. I am tired of all these haters with nothing better to do coming over here. Are you still mad over the 25 point stomping we gave you guys at Philly. Get over it, you guys a severely overrated team playing in possibly the worst the eastern conference has ever been. Trust me, if the Rockets were playing in the eastern or leastern conference, we would be the class of the conference. We were the second team ever to sweep the pathetic central division and we had the best record against the eastern conference in the league. And we were robbed of the playoffs, since we have won the most games ever for a team that didn't make it. Also what you said about modeling our system after the Sixers is ridiculous. You guys traded some promising young players in Stackhouse, and Thomas. And talk about loyalty. You traded your best defender on the team and your future away for guy whose is supposedly 35, possibly 39, and doesn't have many good years left if any. And as for the comparison between steve and iverson. I think overall steve is better only in passing, rebounding, blocking, athletic ability, jump shooting, free throws, 3's, steals, imtimidation, on the ball defense, overall defense, overall offense, intensity, and of course his sick, sick killer crossover.
