    I've been waiting for this day for years. Finally, MarioKart has been released for the Gamecube. I didn't pre-order a copy, so hopefully I won't have trouble finding it. I know I won't be getting much sleep for the next few weeks. I know there are alot of other MarioKart lovers out there.....has anyone else bought the game? What do you think of it?

    I bought the Gamecube and preordered it last week. Hoping I can pick it up on the way home from work.

    Unfortunately, I bought an S-video cable for the Gamecube, and it looks worse than the video displayed by using the composite cable that came with the system. I exchange the cable for another one and had the same problem. Very pixelated image that looks like crap. Perhaps there is something wrong with the system itself?

    I'm stuck using composite, which sucks. Hopefully I won't have the same problem when I upgrade to component in December.

    I loved the orginal MarioKart. Classic game, I played it like everyday after school, its scary on how many hours I played it. BattleMode was the best. My roomate has a gamecube so I'm going to rent it eventually to see how it is, Id probaly buy it right now if it wasnt for the fact that im addicted to Madden at the moment.

    Crap, apparently it comes out tomorrow. I had read several places that it comes out on the 17th, but every store I've gone to said it is tomorrow.

    Generally when they give a release date that is actually the ship date. You can expect it to be in stores the day after it ships.

    The Mario Kart demo has been running in the local EB for a couple weeks now. There's always a crowd. And lots of yelling and the occasional cussing. :D


    Must buy tomorrow.

    Man, I don't even *HAVE* a GameCube, and I'm getting this game! :p

    N64 MarioKart is in my vaunted Top 3 (Tecmo SuperBowl, MarioKart and Doom), and I can't wait to play the new one! Awesome.

    I hope someone posts a review as soon as they get their grubby hands on it!

    Man, my friend is getting it and we're all gonna hang out at his apartment and eat pizza and play all night on Tues. It's gonna be funtastic.
