Hope they're better than what I saw last year at SXSW. They came on an hour late and proceeded to whine about the sound. Then they played 30 minutes of new songs no one had heard before they got to the good stuff. I was dissapoint.
Eh, I have picked Steely Dan over the Cult tonite! Sweating it out in the Woodlands to the oldies with the oldies!!
Forgot to mention that they were blaming their sound problems on Gary Clark, Jr, who had opened and played an awesome set. Showing up an hour late and complaining about Gary Clark, Jr. while in Austin is not a good way to endear yourself to the crowd...in Austin.
lol the sound sucks because the show that preceded us was great. That's a good one. Saw them years ago at Compaq or Summit don't remember which and there were sound problems at that show too. They had a guest guitar player come on (forget who) and he was playing but his sound didn't come on.... they proceeded to act stupid and complain about it later.
